Job Description

This request is for an application architect for the Child Support KIDS Information Data system. This position will be responsible for architecting multi-layered object oriented analysis and design deliverables, developing and supporting web applications in a Microsoft web application architecture utilizing ASP.Net and a DB2 database for the Wisconsin Child Support program. The Division of Family & Economic Security, Bureau of Child Support Services uses several web applications to manage the various aspects of the program. These applications include: wiKIDS, Child Support Online Services (CSOS) for participant financial and personal information; Lien Docket Web for Lien information; and License Certification Web professional license information. This position will provide application architecture expertise and leadership for federally mandated, state budget and administrative projects supporting the child support program. Project duties are to provide architectural analysis and design expertise and quality assurance for newer child support applications including wiKIDS with the document generation sub-system (using Smart Communications, IBM BPM and FileNet) and modernization efforts for existing applications noted above. Project duties will also include completing and/or reviewing deliverables for all phases of the system development life cycle: project planning, requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, development of user documentation, training materials and help screens. 1. The selected candidate will be required to sign exhibit B (attached) as part of the on boarding process. 2. The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check. 3. This position is budgeted for 1960 hours annually. Hours will be prorated the first year based on start date. 4. DCF does not sponsor work visas, either at the time of hire or at any later date.
