The Clorox Company Customer Operations Export Analyst in Alpharetta, Georgia

The Customer Operations Export Analyst is the main liaison between Clorox's Export customers, sales teams, and PSO function. The Analyst is responsible for understanding customers (s) requirements and ensuring that those requirements are met. The analyst plays a critical facilitation role in the execution of supply chain activities by working with Sales to understand needs, ensuring item setup, tracking event execution, and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key Product Supply functions to facilitate the export order process ensuring timely supply of goods from U.S. manufacturing plant(s) and distribution centers.

  • Responsibilities include knowledge of SAP and exporting requirements (Incoterms, Export documentation, Certificate of Analysis etc.

  • Partnering with demand and supply to ensure product availability

  • Partnering with Supply Chain lead and business to execute product transitions, new customer set up, pricing actions and other improvements

  • Serving as escalation point for reoccurring supply chain concerns

  • Accountable for ensuring compliance with Domestic, International, and Company requirements.

  • Maintains knowledge of domestic regulations as it relates to Hazardous shipments and ensures adherence to Federal regulations for domestic transportation

  • Prepare and verify export documentation for compliance with all U.S. and international government regulations

  • Partner with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) for any regulatory documentation and adherence

  • Responsible for continuous improvement of export fulfillment processes, aligning with International rules and regulations.

  • Determine appropriate product allocation and sourcing for exports based on inventory policies and fulfillment requirements

  • Partner with key PSO functions to develop strategies to improve supply chain costs for Clorox and the customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

  • 3 years' experience of in supply chain role.

  • 3 year experience with SAP (or other ERP software) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Visio)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in supply chain or project management

  • 3 years' experience of in supply chain with an focus on international background.

  • A strong knowledge of International and US Government Regulations

  • Analytical thinking; can support conclusions with data and logic, proactively investigate complex issues, and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems

  • Demonstrated ability to train, build the knowledge of others and coach people on daily operations and tasks

  • Demonstrate the ability to tactfully apply old and develop new solutions to solve for ever-changing business opportunities

  • Strong decision making skills and ability to back up difficult decisions

  • Additional language skills: Spanish or Portuguese
