The Boeing Company Equipment & Tool Engineer (Early Career) in Auburn, Washington
The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Production Engineering Department is seeking an Equipment & Tool Engineer to support Boeing Fabrication's Auburn Tooling Services (ATS) in Auburn, WA.
Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling.
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
1 years' experience using CATIA V5 or similar CAD software desirable.
1 years' experience designing multiple tool types for metallic and/or composite parts and assemblies desirable. Desired Skills / Experience:
Competence with Office suite of software.
Automation and controls background desirable but not required.
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
