Oracle Cloud Security and Compliance Program Lead in Boise, Idaho

Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.

Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company s firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.

This position is a member of a team responsible for the review,assessment and remediation of identified issues in the cloud environment. Thisindividual should have deep technical knowledge and the ability to communicateand work effectively across teams.


  • Comprehensive management of various technical securityprojects

  • Documentation of project tracking, risk assessments andremediation plans

  • Understanding of technical security analysis and guidancegiven to product and operations teams.

  • Follow-up on implementation of corrective actions fromassessments and provide direct guidance for security remediation activities.

  • Document internal and external collateral

  • Develop and manage training related to technical securitytopics

  • Be a primary security point of contact for the GBUs andliaise with other organizations needed to drive security projects

  • Provide ongoing KPIs on the working being done as part ofthis program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education andfive years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematicsor related field

  • 7 years of experience in technical security / cybersecurity

  • Experience with data analysis and effective managementreporting

  • Possess an understanding of security standards and riskmanagement

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possess the ability to adjust and adapt to changingpriorities in a dynamic environment

  • Be able to multi-task and be pro-active in addressing issuesand requests

  • Possess technical acumen and the ability to understand andinterpret technical specifications

  • Possess Project Management Skills

Strongly Prefer:

  • Auditing or security background

  • Experience with Cloud delivery models

  • Experience working with software development teams

Travel Component: *Minimal. *Approx. 10-20% travel within the UnitedStates and Canada may be required to successfully fill this role.
