This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job DescriptionArcadis is looking for a summer intern to join our growing IDP (Information Driven Performance) practice in Chicago, IL. This intern will assist project teams to gather Environmental, Health, Safety, sustainability or quality related business requirements, translate them into Information System specifications and implement design in associated software.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Assess current client business and operations processes, identify opportunities for improvement and document potential gaps

+ Facilitate discussion to solidify functional requirements in adequate detail for transition to configuration

+ Identify, document and delegate completion of business requirements

+ Participate in resourcing discussions to determine best fit for the identified project activities

+ Ensure execution of configuration activities to meet project delivery milestones

+ Create or review project documentation:

+ Design specifications

+ Quality assurance and testing templates

+ Training guides

+ Coordinate maintenance related activities post go-live

In the past, successful completion of the summer internship has lead to full time offers for students upon graduation.Required Qualifications

+ Pursuing a BS in Environmental Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree.

+ Proficient with MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project

+ Proficient with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Azure a bonus

+ Familiar with multiple project types or software deployment methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

+ Familiarity with subject matter concepts related to environmental, health, safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, sustainability, data science or quality a plus.
