Your Responsibility:

Manage the day to day Operations of Global and Regional BWs a complex landscape hosting 5 Critical Business Processes. SPOC for all Vertical clients that host their applications on the platform. The following are the main responsibilities:

•Ensure the availability and performance of all stacks of the platform and meet or exceed all agreed QOP and Availability metrics. •Governance and Design approval of all major application related changes in the platform. •Manage overall Platform governance and related initiatives (Including SRUs across all stacks of platform) •Administer key platform processes & improvements in these processes – includes Release Management, Change Management, ILM (Infrastructure Lifecycle Management), CAPM (Capacity and Performance Management •Application /Operations manager for Shared Master Data in BW •Ensure correct technical architecture of all new BI solutions •Manage overall Knowledge management practices, procedures and policies of P&G governance – Including BW design standards, templates and administration of training needs •Technical Consultant for applications on technical capabilities of new tools, connectivity and security aspects •Security Business Expert for all BW applications •Highlight best practices and constantly update new capabilities to BW community •Liaise with Vendor ecosystem and hold them accountable as per existing contractual obligations via periodic SDRs and deliver accurate feedback •Accurate forecasting of Infrastructure and budgets and adherence of all finance related processes in Money Manager and Plan View. •Ensure compliance to our processes including maintaining Platform attributes

Our Requirements

6-8 years of Working in SAP BW space on BW artifacts and design concepts

2 years exposure to SAP HANA with knowledge of topology, HANA Artifacts & monitoring tools.

5 years building BW Data Warehousing applications using LSA concepts.

Deep understanding of ABAP usage for BW Transformations and exposure to SQL concepts for HANA.

Minimum of 5 years experience in BW application / Operations management

Good exposure to BW frontend tools including BOBJ, BeX, Analysis etc. Exposure to new tools like Lumira and Fiori a plus.

Experience working with ECC data model (SD/MM/FI) and an exposure to target S4 data models

Experience with Migration of SAP systems to the Cloud a plus

Result oriented problem solver that can demonstrate multiple parts of the SAP Ecosystem to solve tough platform problems that have serious Business impact.

Good communication skills and an ability to respectfully negotiate with key platform stakeholders on Core Platform maintenance aspects.

Good project management skills and the ability to run large upgrade initiatives that involve multiple vendors and application groups.

Team player that can coach and develop newer recruits and build future platform leaders.

A Self-learner who keeps up to date with evolution of the SAP Road map and updates technical skills constantly.
