This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job Description Implements recruitment strategies as outlined in the admissions plan in the assigned territory that may include high school and/or community college visits, college fairs, area receptions, and events.Works with students, parents, and alumni organizations in the recruitment of students and assisting in enrolling a diverse student body.Serves as a member of the Recruitment Team managing a recruitment territory to assist in achieving university enrollment goals and is responsible for freshman and transfer student recruitment within a designated territory. Specifically, this position will work to recruit Native American students and underrepresented populations from across the State of Arizona, and the western United States. Advises prospective students and families of admission requirements, transfer of credit, provides financial aid and scholarship information, as well as various student support services across all campus modalities (Flagstaff Mountain campus, Community Campuses, and Online).Initiates, plans, and executes special projects in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the office.Consults and collaborates throughout the campus community on matters related to native cultures and diverse student recruitment.Provides presentations to campus visitors at on-campus and off-campus events. Assists with the execution of on-campus visit programs as needed, including but not limited to Discover NAU, Explore Honors Day, Native American Visit Day, Lumberjack Spirit Day, Multicultural Recruitment Programs, and transfer student programmingCounsel, guide, and advise prospective students and families via scheduled appointments, phone, letters, e-mail, and other communication methods in the completion of complex admission and financial aid forms, admission requirements, transfer guidelines, cost of attendance, financial aid programs, and various other student and enrollment related services, programs and opportunities.Manages assigned territory by staying abreast of current events and issues that may impact that territory.May serve as a representative of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation for on-campus and off-campus organizations and constituents.Completes routine reports related to recruitment, enrollment projections, personal schedule, travel, special programs, and professional development.Evaluates program effectiveness, assesses outcomes, and develops improved programming to achieve goals, complete cost analyses, for programs/events.Other duties as assigned.
