Sentar is seeking a Journeyman to Mid level Cybersecurity Analyst to support an active government contract opportunity in Huntsville. Key responsibilities entail daily and weekly maintenance and analysis of complex FISMA spreadsheets encompassing hundreds of DoD systems and utilizing the data for coordination and aggregation of reports to key management. These spreadsheets are relied upon by Flag Level Officers, and high levels of attention to detail and accuracy are required. Additionally, day-to-day management of the Army’s Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) processes are required. This also requires compiling and aggregating information from multiple sources and maintaining and reporting on current status. The successful candidate will support HQ level activities that govern multiple Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs).

Basic Qualifications:

-Working understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, and an understanding of the business process associated with the progression of RMF packages for DoD systems across the RMF Lifecycle;

-Strong communication skills with high levels of customer service orientation due to the requirement to develop strong working relationships with a large group of diverse and geographically distributed stakeholders;

-Ability to accurately gather and compile status data from multiple sources;

-Critical thinking skills to identify cyber risks and impact to operations;

-Mastery of complex excel spreadsheet manipulation;

-IAM-II certification, such as: CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP, CISSP (or Associate);

-Active Secret clearance;


Desired qualifications:

-The preferred candidate will have a foundational understanding of FISMA (Federal Information Systems Management Act) and how FISMA requirements drive and define cybersecurity activities;

-The preferred candidate will have a general understanding of headquarter level operations within a Major Command Structure, and associated (multiple) Major Subordinate Commands;

-Experience with the NIST 800-53 controls and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) is also preferred;

-Experience with eMASS a plus;

-Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Information Assurance, Forensics or Information Security preferred;

-Top Secret clearance is a plus.
