Role and Responsibilities
The selected applicant will assist PMA265 F/A-18 and E/A-18G Program Manager, or person with delegated authority, in developing program documentation, program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, perform risk assessment, developing and tracking responses to program office operations tasking, and liaising with Level III Product Leads. The selected candidate will participate in meetings, take minutes, prepare presentations and prepare reports and/or studies.
The selected candidate will track F/A-18 and EA-18G Integration program/project statuses, schedules and documentation by collecting and analyzing program risk. The selected candidate will manage information pertaining to contracts, Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDS), Statements of Work (SOW), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). The selected candidate must be able to function efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and must be a self-starter.
BS or BA degree in a Business related field. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA.
At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development is required. The desired experience includes demonstrated experience in program/project status and schedules, demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series), and experience with processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs.
