This job was posted by https://joblink.alabama.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.alabama.gov/ada/r/jobs/2447117 Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full Time Materials Receiving and Stock Clerk.Shift: Two different shifts: 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday/ 5:00AM-1:00PM Tuesday and ThursdayPosition Goal: To supply the hospital on a daily basis with the materials necessary to ensure that each department maintains the appropriate supplies needed to perform their duties.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for the inventory and stocking of all POI areas daily.Creates new POI areas in the Medhost system, as required.Prepares and provides the daily lost item report to all department directors and the DMMPrepares and provides the monthly lost item report and expired item report to the DMMResponsible for maintaining Central Supply, to include assigning locations, PAR levels, stocking, ordering, adding or deleting product and the labeling.Receives, verifies and delivers products as received through Materials Management; process receipts via Medhost.As needed, prepares and processes vendor returns.Maintains crash carts, isolation carts, and disaster carts stocked, up-to-date, and make appropriate charges; this includes periodic inventories, assigning appropriate stockage levels and restocking.Track and Report costs to the DMMActively involved in hospital wide physical inventory by assisting with counting, data input and as directed by the DMM.Requisition supplies as needed to support area of responsibilitiesExperience: Warehouse/Inventory experience preferred.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of MS Office software.
