This job was posted by : For more information, please see: *Daily Job Duties** Record job progress and completion in Gryphon.* Keep an accurate inventory of raw materials within your department.* Print materials to meet the given specifications.* Perform all necessary actions (i.e. manipulating art, color matching, file organization, etc.) to make sure product meets the required specifications.* Produce products within the deadline given to you by management, while still observing all safety protocols.* Must be willing to be exposed to and use chemicals. Please use proper safety precautions when doing so. If you can't find the gear needed, ask your supervisor.* Notate usages of ink and chemicals.* Stand/bend/stoop/lift repeatedly and for long periods of time.* Relay information to supervisors about items needed to complete any orders.* Make sure all equipment is shutdown properly at the end of the day.* Be on time and ready to work when your shift is set to start. Get coffee, food, etc. before clocking in.* Inform your supervisor of your daily plan to make sure nothing else is needed from you.* Make sure printers, plotters are run safely so no damage is done to any part of it.* Make sure table is clear of all obstructions before printing to prevent damage to the machine.* All unused materials need to be returned to its proper place, and all excess ink and chemicals need to be disposed of properly.* Double check for any spelling, grammatical errors, or image imperfections before printing begins. If you aren't sure, ask a supervisor.* Perform your job the way you were instructed to by management. If you believe you have a more effective and efficient way of completing a task, please discuss it with management before doing so.* Make sure all product leaving your department meets the high quality standards expected by the company. If it seems unsatisfactory tell your supervisor.* When your department is slow, ask your supervisor who/where you can help out. There is ALWAYS work to do.* Keep your department clean and organized.* All company property (i.e. tools, machines, material, computers, etc.) must not be used for personal use unless authorized in advance by your supervisor.* Cell phones (tablets, headphones, and all other electronic devices) are allowed for work purposes only. All other uses are only permitted on break and lunch.
