Leidos Document Management Analyst I in WASHINGTON, District Of Columbia
Job Description:
The Mega Program at Leidos currently has an opening for a Document Management Analyst I at the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice at 601 D Street, NW, Washington, DC. The period of performance is through November 30, 2019 with possible annual extensions thereafter.
Under the direction of Task Supervisor or Document Management Analyst, performs the following tasks while complying with established procedures:
Maintain file room: remove closed case files and box them up for storage
Maintain the case file index
Perform data entry into the Safari database and FPDS database
Print and mail contract packages to expert
Email expert and attorney upon contract approval
Create file folders for new contracts
Copy contracts for Finance
Fax, email, and scan documents
Create travel letters and email to appropriate person
Give scanned invoices to appropriate invoice reviewer
Create Routing slips for contract actions needing Executive Office approvals
Perform related work as assigned and required
Basic Qualifications:
Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities.
One year of general office experience on or undergraduate degree.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment.
Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Safari Database and FPDS database
Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
Some walking, standing, bending and carrying of small office items
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Accounting experience, preferred.
Legal experience, helpful.
Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment in conjunction with basic qualifications and/or equivalent level of training.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Access or other data bases), Word Perfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional, strongly preferred.
Experience in working with databases such as Concordance, Relativity, Summation, Trial Director or other similar databases/applications, helpful.
Current or active clearance.
